R. Michael Coker, Lead Attorney
Michael Coker has quickly established himself as one of Gwinnett County’s premier personal injury attorneys. A life-long Gwinnett resident, Michael has dedicated his career to helping victims of accidents, slip and falls, apartment shootings, and negligence. Since 2014, he has been named one of the “Top 40 Lawyers Under 40” by the National Trial Lawyers and he was recently named as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, a national publication which honors less than 2.5% of all lawyers in the State of Georgia as being top of their field.
Despite his busy schedule, Michael insists on still meeting each and every client individually because client satisfaction is what is most important. Samantha Ball, Associate Attorney
Samantha Ball is no stranger to the courtroom having clerked for a judge at the Gwinnett County Superior Court before entering private practice where she gained valuable experience in personal injury, family law, and criminal defense. Samantha’s superior trial and negotiation skills makes her a force to be respected in and out of the courtroom.
Originally from Gwinnett County, Samantha attended Mill Creek High School before attending the University of West Georgia and the Florida Costal School of Law. Samantha is known throughout Gwinnett County for her strong legal skills and willingness to fight for the best possible outcome for her clients in any personal injury case. Her experience working for a Gwinnett County judge gives her a unique prospective that benefits her clients by maximizing the value of their case.

Chelsie Benitez, Litigation Paralegal
Originally from Gwinnett County, Chelsie Benitez is dedicated to serving the people here in her home town. Holding a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Gwinnett College, Chelsie works to assist the attorneys with all aspects of litigation. Chelsie has experience as a paralegal, which enhances her ability to provide new perspectives to our clients’ cases. Chelsie’s experiences both professionally and personally allow her to be compassionate and understanding with clients.
Chelsie’s knowledge of the legal system allows her to explain the litigation process in an easy-to-understand manner to our clients. Chelsie is proficient in legal research and excels in legal drafting which makes her an asset to our firm. With organization as a top priority in all phases of litigation, Chelsie works hard to ensure clients stay informed and each case moves efficiently through the litigation process. Chelsie also is fluent in Spanish, so she is the primary contact for our Spanish-speaking clients.
Jenna Caudle, Front Desk Administration
Jenna Caudle is originally from a small town in North Carolina but moved to Georgia. She has dedicated her career to office administration, having worked in doctors’ offices and legal offices throughout Gwinnett County. Jenna’s experience in the medical field makes her an excellent advocate for our clients as they navigate their complex and complicated treatment plans after an accident or injury.
Jenna is also the person to greet you when you walk through our door and the first friendly voice to greet you on our phone. Jenna has the amazing ability to make our clients feel cared-for and comfortable after a traumatic automobile collision or other injury. She is a valuable member of the Coker law team and does an excellent job managing the administration of our law firm on behalf of our clients.
Bruce Coker, Firm Marketing Manager
With thirty-plus years of sales background, Bruce gave up his self-employment to become the Marketing Director for his son. Bruce acts as the firm’s physician and chiropractor representative, known for his dedication to showing medical providers that their patients are in great hands with the Coker firm. Given Michael’s busy schedule, Bruce also becomes a point of contact for physicians, chiropractors, and other community leaders to answer questions about the firm and various cases.
As Bruce’s role continues to grow within the firm, he serves as a great reminder of the Law Offices of R. Michael Coker commitment to the community. The firm is willing to always go the extra mile to ensure that the residents of Gwinnett and the surrounding counties are provided with top quality legal services.
Cindy Coker, Medical Records
While some personal injury law firms outsource their medical records requests to third party companies and bill the added charges to the client, the Law Offices of R. Michael Coker handle all medical record requests in-house. This ensures that medical record requests are received faster and at a substantially lower cost for our clients. Cindy oversees the medical records requests in the office and ensures that records are received in a timely manner to maximize the speed and value of our clients’ cases.
Cindy works primarily behind the scenes, but clients feel the effects of her work by having their case reach a resolution faster through maximum efficiency. She is a valuable member of the team which provides top level service to our clients.
Meredith Coker, Medical Treatment Case Manager
Meredith Coker is the firm’s contact person when the client is undergoing their medical treatment after an accident. Meredith was born in Massachusetts but was raised here in Lawrenceville. Meredith was a swimmer at Collins Hill High School and graduated from the University of Georgia.
Meredith understands the importance of checking-in with our clients at least once per month about their medical treatment. Meredith’s goal is to ensure that our clients’ medical treatment continues without any problems or stress for the client. Given her relationship and constant communication with local doctors’ offices, Meredith is the clients’ best point of contact for any medical related questions or concerns, and she keeps the attorneys fully informed of the clients’ ongoing treatment and condition.
Magen Davis, Executive Assistant/Office Manager
There is a reason that Magen is responsible for ensuring that the law firm runs at peak efficiency: her organization and focus is unmatched. As the Executive Assistant to Michael, Magen is responsible for working with doctor’s offices, facilitating court appearances and scheduling, and confirming our clients’ cases settle quickly and efficiently. Magen comes to our firm with a medical administration background, and she knows what needs to be done to ensure that our firm’s cases reach a settlement in the shortest amount of time.
Magen’s understanding and knowledge of the firm’s processes and obligations allows us to maximize the recovery for our clients. While other firms might require months or even years to settle their client’s cases, Magen keeps our firm and its attorneys operating at maximum efficiency.
Baxter Dowell, Video Production
Baxter Dowell is a graduate of Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee where he studied film production. Baxter’s talents behind a camera give our firm a competitive advantage over other injury firms in the state. With Baxter at-the-ready, we are able to instantly respond to the scene of a collision or a tow yard to take important videos and photographs to preserve critical evidence before it is destroyed. Only firms with a full-time photographer and videographer on site can respond instantly to take drone video of the incident scene.
Baxter also produces the firm’s informational videos and the monthly “Spirit of Gwinnett” video series. In the “Spirit of Gwinnett” videos, Baxter features local charities, businesses, and locations in Gwinnett that are doing great work in our community. Baxter is a valuable member of the Coker Law team and provides his videography skills to provide free information and training to the people of Gwinnett County.
Kylie Wagar, Intake Specialist
Kylie Wagar’s years in customer service explain why she is the firm’s Intake Specialist. First impressions matter. When a potential client calls a law firm, they want to talk to someone that is both knowledgeable and willing to offer solutions.
Kylie gives new and potential clients that peace of mind. She is willing to put our client’s first and assure them that our firm is handling their legal matter quickly, professionally, and effectively. Kylie can answer all the client’s initial questions and provide much needed support in the initial phases of the case.
